Which works effectively MOST of the time, however it can result in some less obvious bans such as #beautyblogger , #valentinesday and #easter being banned! These may seem odd but it's mostly due to bots posting inappropriate content with innocent hashtags attached. And annoyingly, Instagram doesn't actually publish its list of banned hashtags, so it's easy to trip up!
If you use too many banned hashtags, Instagram could flag your account, which could eventually lead to the infamous "shadow ban" or even your account being removed.

It is clear that Instagram has made an effort to take a stand against hate speech and other forms of inappropriate content on its platform by banning certain hashtags. It is important to note, however, that this move alone will not be enough to stop all inappropriate content on the platform and users should continue to use caution when posting online.
